How to reach
Gurung Homestay is well connected. You can take, shared Jeep, or Hire a cab from Siliguri/NJP/Bagdogra and take the route to via Rangpo to Kalimpong. In between the route of lies our Gurung Homestay.
AIR Connections :
The nearest airport is in Bagdogra near Siliguri, about 80 kilometers from Kalimpong. Air India, Jet Airways & Druk Air are the four major carriers that connect the airport to Delhi, Calcutta, Paro (Bhutan), Guwahati and Bangkok (Thailand).
RAIL Connections :
The closest major railway station is New Jalpaiguri on the outskirts of Siliguri. It is connected to Kolkata (Calcutta), New Delhi, Guwahati and other major Indian cities.
Local Transport :
Regular hired vehicles connect Munsong with Siliguri (65kms approx) & the neighboring towns of Kalimpong and Rangpo. Four wheel drives are popular means of transport, as they can easily navigate the steep slopes in the region. From Siliguri/NJP, you can book a cab to take you to the Gurung Homestay.
